Gamcheon Culture Village: Santorini of Busan
πAbout
Perched on the coastal mountainside of Busan, Gamcheon Culture Village is famous for its colorful, lego-like houses and labyrinthine alleys. Originally a refugee settlement in the 1950s, it was transformed into an artistic community through a massive urban regeneration project in 2009. Today, the village is a vibrant maze of street art, sculptures, and murals, offering some of the most spectacular panoramic views of Busan's harbor.
